Fresh Fruit Smoothie Recipe

This smoothie recipe has something for everyone. See a fruit you don’t like or don’t have, then replace it with something you do have or do like. Fresh Fruit Smoothie

  • 1 Cup Watermelon; Cut Up
  • 1 Cup Cantaloupe Or Honeydew;
  • 1 Cup Pineapple; Cut Up
  • 1 Cup mango; Cut Up
  • 1 Cup Strawberries; Halved
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Orange Juice
  • Crushed Ice

Mix all ingredients except ice. Fill blender container 1/2 full of mixture. Add crushed ice to fill to the top. Cover and blend on high speed until of a uniform consistency. Repeat with remaining mixture. Serve immediately; garnish with fruit, if desired. Garnish with a strawberry and a sprig of mint.


Banana Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Simple and elegant…with a banana? Honey helps give this smoothie a sweet aftertaste.
banana Fruit Smoothie

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 cups plain low-fat yogurt
  • 4 small bananas
  • honey to taste

Place all the ingredients in a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth.


Peach Raspberry Smoothie Recipe

Peaches and cream? What about peaches and raspberries? Try it and let us know what you think of this smoothie.

  • 1 cup non-fat peach yogurt
  • 3/4 cup peach nectar
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1 1/2 cup ripe medium peaches, diced

Combine the yogurt and nectar in a blender. Add the raspberries and peaches. Blend until smooth. Serves 2.


Simple Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

Sometimes keeping a smoothie recipe simple is the best thing to do. Blueberries area great antioxidant to use for your smoothie, they don’t need much help.

  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup plain, low-fat yogurt
  • 1/2 cup washed, stemmed blueberries
  • honey to taste

Place all the ingredients in a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth.


Maniac Melon Smoothie Recipe

Summer is coming to a close so good melons will be harder to find. Send summer out without melon-coly and try this melon smoothie recipe.

  • 1 cup of peach fat-free yogurt, frozen
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup cantaloupe
  • 1/2 cup honey dew melon
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup strawberries (or substitute with watermelon)

Put yogurt, milk, and strawberries into blender. Blend on high for about 30-45 seconds. Then add in cantaloupe, melon, and ice. Blend once again on high for 1 minute.


Power Smoothie Recipe

If this power protein smoothie doesn’t get you moving you’ll need to add pure adrenaline. A great smoothie recipe with power.

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup fruit juice (i.e. orange, cranberry, etc.)

For added nutrition use:

  • 1 Tbls. soy protein powder
  • 1 Tbls. molasses
  • 1 tsp. wheat germ.
Blend until smooth. Then add frozen fruit, i.e. strawberries, raspberries, etc., one at a time, until smoothie is consistency you desire. The basic recipe is: ice, fruit, yoghurt, juice and/or milk. (I usually stick to juice, but sometimes add just a splash of milk to smooth it out.)
Red Robin Groovy Smoothie Recipes

The sweeter the strawberries the better the smoothie flavour.

  • 1/3 cup frozen sweetened strawberries, thawed
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/3 berry apple blend juice (any brand will due)
  • 1/4 cup peach nectar
  • 1/2 cup of ice
  • 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
  • Garnish with maraschino cherry of course

Combine ingredients in a blender (provide a link here to blender product range)and blend until smoothe. Serves 1, approximately 16 ounces.
